Fasnap's self-piercing design eliminates the pre-punch step — the sharpened grommet edge cuts its own hole as it sets, producing a cleaner, more consistent result on production runs than standard two-step grommets. The patented washer features small locking teeth and a channel that grips the material on both sides, distributing tension across a wider surface area and preventing slipping under load. The result holds firmly under outdoor tension without tearing the hem.
