Painted Aluminum Sign Sheets: 4x8 and 4x10

Pre-painted aluminum is the sign-grade metal sheet for signs that need to last outdoors: parking and regulatory signs, post-mounted directional signs, facility signs and long-term real estate signs. Unlike bare mill-finish sheet from a metals supplier, sign aluminum comes painted from the factory with a smooth enamel surface, ready for vinyl graphics.

Aluminum Sheets vs ACM

• Solid aluminum: heavier and stiffer for its thickness, with better impact resistance. Preferred for road, parking and post-mounted signs.
• ACM sign sheets: aluminum faces over a polyethylene core. Lighter and very flat, preferred for wall signs and large flat panels.
• AlumaCorr: aluminum faces over a corrugated core, the lightest of the three.

What is the difference between painted sign aluminum and regular aluminum sheet?

Sign aluminum comes pre-painted from the factory with a smooth enamel finish that is ready for vinyl graphics. Mill-finish aluminum from a metals supplier is bare metal and needs cleaning and priming before it can take graphics.

Can you cut aluminum sheets to size?
