Oracal 5500 Reflective Vinyl 48", Engineer Grade Reflective Film
5500 Engineer Grade is a weatherproof and self-adhesive retroreflective film with excellent corrosion and solvent resistance. The product was specifically developed for the manufacture of traffic control, guidance, information and warning signs as well as for reflective lettering, numbers and symbols intended for long term outdoor use.
ORALITE 5500 engineer grade reflective vinyl in 48" width, the wide-format production roll for full-panel sign fabrication, large traffic control applications, and reflective background panels requiring ASTM D4956 Type I performance. The 48" width handles full sign panel widths for mounted sign systems and larger traffic control installations without horizontal seams.

Applications & Uses
The 48" 5500 is specified for large-format sign fabrication, full-panel reflective backgrounds for overhead sign systems, large parking and wayfinding signs, and any reflective sign application requiring 48" width or where multiple narrower rolls would create unwanted seams. The engineer grade Type I performance is the baseline specification for most municipal traffic and informational signage programs. Compatible with wide-format inkjet platforms for digitally printed reflective sign backgrounds.
