The 12" width is the standard width for desktop vinyl cutters — Siser Juliet, Graphtec CE8000-40, and similar desktop machines cut 12" media natively. For production shops running wider cutters, EasyWeed is also available in 15" and 20" widths.
EasyWeed vs EasyWeed Stretch — Which Do You Need?
Standard EasyWeed is engineered for woven fabrics — cotton, polyester, and blends. If you're decorating athletic wear, performance fabrics, or anything with significant stretch, EasyWeed Stretch is the right choice. EasyWeed Stretch uses a different adhesive system designed to move with the fabric through stretching and repeated washing without cracking.

Application Instructions
- Cut your design mirrored using a 45° blade
- Weed the excess material — the thin film releases cleanly from fine detail
- Pre-press your garment for 2–3 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles
- Apply at 305°F, medium pressure (45 PSI), 10–15 seconds
- Peel hot or cold — both produce the same result
- Wait 24 hours before first wash
- Machine wash inside-out, warm or cold, mild detergent — no bleach, no dry clean
Cutter settings:
- Graphtec: 45° blade, force 8–9, 30cm/s
- Roland GS-24: 45° blade, force 80–90g, offset .250mm, 20cm/s
- Siser Juliet/Romeo: 45° blade, force 5–10g, 10cm/s
Always test cut before any production run. Maintain a minimum line thickness of 1/16" for lettering and logos.
